The story explores the reasons behind Kazama Kimichika's ruthless personality. Set during his time as a criminal instructor at the police academy, Kazama leads a training program called "Kazama Dojo," where rookie detectives learn investigative skills through real murder cases. Initially dismissed as unqualified, the detectives grow under Kazama's intense guidance, discovering their own limitations. Kazama’s sharp instincts allow him to uncover the truth faster than anyone, and eventually, the junior detectives graduate from the Kazama Dojo one by one.
