Yamakawa Nijika, employed at a food company, grew weary of the unreasonable treatment at work and her struggles with her job, spending her days suppressing her true self. One day, she was dispatched to a children's cafeteria, where she met Sato Sui, a precocious elementary school pupil who frequented the place. Though initially bewildered by Sui's persistent attentiveness, she gradually opens up and becomes more candid towards this peculiar girl who, for some reason, offers sharp critiques in samurai-style speech.
