Sinopsis

Yui and Kenken live next door to each other in a long-established shopping district in Morioka City. Yui lives with her mother, Yuka, who works at a Nambu ironware shop. Kenken lives with his father, Takashi, who runs a tofu shop, and his grandmother, Senjuko; the three of them make up his family. The two grew up so close that if they leaned out of their bedroom windows, they could talk to each other. Kenken, who is good at drawing, graduated from a university in Tokyo and works at a small design company. For Yui, Kenken, slightly older than her, is someone she admires, and she has long harbored unrequited feelings for him. He is kind, has a lovely smile, and being with him makes her feel happy. After graduating from junior college, Yui begins working at a local company, but in the small workplace, she ends up taking on more unfamiliar tasks than she can handle. One day, she leaves work as if running away, and before she realizes it, she has come to Tokyo to see Kenken. By chance, Kenken is hosting friends at his home, and among them is his coworker Suzuka.
