Sinopsis

Filled with regret and despair, Oikawa Shimon wanders around in search of a place to end his life. He arrives at a small restaurant called "Magudaraya" located on the edge of a cliff in a place called "Jinkage". Shimon eats a warm set meal served by the owner, Arima Ria (nicknamed Maria), and before he knows it, he has had a second helping of rice because it is so delicious... After that, Shimon decides to work at the restaurant for a while. As Shimon meets Maria, the owner and female proprietress Reiko, the fisherman Katsuo, and the young man Maruka, who has come to seek a place to die like himself, Shimon begins to regain the courage to live. Then, one day, Maria suddenly disappears from "Jinkage". She runs "Magudaraya" with a smile, but she has a big secret.
