Sinopsis

Matsumi Kanata is a detective assigned to the Third Investigation Division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Although he is highly intelligent and exceptionally athletic, he struggles to connect with others and is known as a “lone wolf.” One day, Kanata is given a top-secret mission by the Public Security Bureau. His task is to infiltrate Tsubakino University of the Arts, where the culprit behind a series of drone bombings is believed to be hiding, and conduct an undercover investigation. Until three years ago, the university was an all-women’s institution, and its student body is still made up almost entirely of women. In order to blend in without revealing that he is a police officer, Kanata is forced to disguise himself as a woman and enroll at the university. There, Kanata meets Kirihara Haruna, the star of the musical production and the top student in the vocal music department; Oguma Riko, who discovers Kanata’s true identity but nevertheless becomes his partner in the investigation; and Tomoda Misuzu, who becomes openly hostile toward Kanata after losing her role to him. As Kanata spends more time with the university’s colorful and eccentric students, he gradually becomes so absorbed in rehearsing for the musical that he begins to neglect the investigation altogether. However, on the day of the performance, the situation suddenly takes a dramatic turn... Will Kanata be able to uncover the true identity of the bomber? And what fate awaits the musical?
